About

I make new myths, repurposing familiar symbols from childhood and nature — magical girls and cartoon dogs, aliens and ghosts, animals and plants — into contemporary narratives.

My work crosses sculpture, drawing, and new media, with a particular interest in the ways that different dimensions intersect. Paper clay acts as both a sculptural material and a surface for drawing. Constructed masks and props become elements for videos and projections, taking on a dreamlike and enrapturing quality of light as they go from a physical space to a digital one and back again.
